As an Assistant Manager at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $70,000 - $80,000 annual salary range.
What you'll do
As the Assistant Manager, you will lead the exciting pre-opening and opening phases of our Food & Beverage restoration project, the first major transformation at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel since 1940. This initiative includes overseeing a the Lobby Café and Hotel Bar both aimed at setting new benchmarks in luxury dining and bar service. You will be instrumental in contributing up to $10 million to an already successful $40 million Food and Beverage operation.
A day in the life of our Assistant Managers demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that an Assistant Manager accomplishes would be lengthy, but the list below is essential to know.
• The Assistant Manager understands all protocols and processes in the lobby café and hotel bar and serves as the expert on execution.
• Responsible for the overall management of all operational functions within the outlets during their day.
• Creates a positive environment and immediately addresses and understands team member concerns. Connects with the lobby café and hotel bar hourly team members and assists with necessary training and L&D materials to ensure a successful operation that impacts the guest experience.
• Supports the outlets to ensure service execution is consistent and ensures service delivery enables the key brand benefits.
• Responsible for maximizing revenue through reservation management and sales initiatives.
• Strong relationship with the Culinary team and Guest Relations team to partner for shift execution and bespoke guest experiences. Strong relationship with Guest Relations to deliver on brand experiences in in the lobby café and hotel bar through the start/end of a shift for the purpose of making job assignments.
This will include MOD shift coverage, management and readiness – planning and executing for each shift – floor maps and server assignments, reservation management thorough line up notes, outlet walk-throughs.
• Monitor and manage payroll functions – clock in, timecards, schedule adjustments, time and attendance log, status change forms.
• Sometimes our guests have special requests most of these requests are fulfilled by the Assistant Manager.
• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. The Assistant Manager is relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
• Administrative duties as it relates to the operation – pulling itemized receipts, outlet authorization forms, cake forms, running necessary OT and Micros reports that support the operation, daily pass on log to include pertinent and accurate information.
