As a Lobby Attendant at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $31.22 per hour.
What you'll do
A day in the life of our Lobby Attendant.. it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Lobby Attendants accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.
• Our Lobby Attendant is responsible for all maintaining all public areas. This will include checking designated areas throughout the day for general condition i.e. guest bathrooms, fitness center, lobby grand staircases, lobby, all hotel entrances, pool restrooms, employees’ restrooms, Citrus Garden and locker room. Replenish lobby towels, tissue, toilet paper, toilet seat covers, hand soap dispensers, water in fitness center accordingly throughout the day. Deliver water to all turndown carts, closets, fitness center, Green Room and Bungalows. Wipe down all dispensers in the bathroom to ensure that they are dust/spot free. Clean all mirrors. Keep all ashtrays clean throughout the day. Wipe down all basins, cleans and sanitizes toilets, wipe down counter tops. Sweeps carpets and vacuums, if necessary, and pick up any/all debris. Collects trash from Executive Offices, HR, Accounting, Sales and Catering as needed, transport trash to the trash compactor. The Lobby Attendant will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor.
• Sometimes our guests have special requests involving lobby towels, tissue, toilet paper, toilet seat covers, hand soap. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Lobby Attendant.
• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Lobby Attendant are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Lobby Attendant must communicate with all departments in order to ensure the alignment remains.
The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, our Lobby Attendants are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The physical ability to stand and or walk continuously. The physical ability to occasionally climb on a ladder to heights in excess of 12’. The physical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat and work above the shoulders during the performance of the daily job routine. The physical ability to use both hands for continuous grasping, fine manipulation. The physical ability to continuously carry up to 25-35 pounds of weight both on flat surfaces and up and down stairs for a distance of up to 150 feet.
