As an In Room Dining Order Taker your compensation will be $27.93 per hour

You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

·         You will be responsible for receiving guest phone calls for requests and dining orders during their day. This will include organizing orders, lodging and posting daily amenities, closing all checks while handing cash and credit cards and coordinating with other departments to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.

·         You’ll also use our computer systems for daily tasks such as emailing, keeping track of service request on NEXUS, assigning service requests and placing orders, all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.

·         When the In Room Dining Captain is not available, our Order Takers assist with setting tables for the servers. This can include preparing drinks and placing the hot food in hot boxes to ensure the food is kept hot.

·         Sometimes our guests have special requests involving dietary restrictions, timing preferences, amenities, and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our In Room Dining Order Taker.

·         Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our In Room Dining Order Takers are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.

·         While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to  talk, and hear.  The employee frequently is required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours.  Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

·         Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.
