What you'll do

You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

  • You will develop and execute the comprehensive social media strategies to ensure our marketing and communications goals are achieved, while driving engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth.
  • You will manage day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok etc.
  • You will craft captivating and engaging content across diverse social media platforms, either independently or together with our talented content creators.
  • You will curate user-generated content and leverage it to enhance brand authenticity and foster community engagement.
  • You will monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond promptly to inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • You will foster meaningful interactions with followers, influencers, content creators, celebrities and brand advocates to cultivate a loyal and engaged community (including collaborations and partnerships).
  • You will also align social media communication strategies with the global brand strategy while collaborating with Global social media team.
  • You’ll uphold and reinforce The Lana's brand identity, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual elements, and brand guidelines across all communications.
  • In partnership with Marketing & Communications Manager, you will coordinate and oversee any brand initiated or partner photo- and video shoots to ensure all visual assets are in line with the DC brand standards.
  • You will be responsible for managing relationships with external content and social media agencies and freelancers ensuring the results delivered on time, within the set budget and meeting the quality standard.
  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Sales, Events, F&B, Guest Experience, Creative team etc. to align social media efforts with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • You will prepare regular reports and presentations detailing social media performance metrics, insights, and recommendations for optimization.
  • Together with the Marketing team, you will also be responsible for providing the required marketing support to all the departments within the company.
  • You will conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and identify opportunities for innovative social media campaigns and initiatives to elevate The Lana's online presence.
  • You will support the Marketing & Communications Manager and Marketing team in other marketing tasks including the development and production of the content, brand identity materials, collaterals, and not limited to it.

  • Media relations: You will cultivate strong relationships with influencers, content creators, celebrities and partners to maximize the brand value, visibility and coverage.
  • You’ll bring solid experience in social media marketing, community management, and photo & video production.
  • You’ll bring project management skills and effectively manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and successful execution within budget constraints.
  • English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language in an eloquent manner. French or Arabic is a plus
