You will be responsible for supervising the daily activities of the host/security team to ensure all operational and safety procedures are always followed.
Maintain a strong visible presence across the property while ensuring guests and residents receive exceptional service.
Coordinate incident response procedures, including emergencies, accidents, fire alarms and evacuation protocols.
Monitor security systems, CCTV operations and access control procedures to maintain the safety of the property.
Support investigations, incident reporting and conflict resolution professional and confidentially
Work closely with Duty Mangers and operational departments to minimize risks and ensure smooth day to day operations.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards or security concerns.
Ensure compliance with local laws, health &amp; safety regulations and company policies always.
Train, motivate and mentor team members to uphold Dorchester Collection standards and deliver exceptional service.
Maintain accurate records, logs and reports related to incidents, shift activities and operational matters.
Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

You will be responsible for delivering a warm, polished, and highly personalized welcome experience in the lobby of One at Palm Jumeirah, greeting residents, their family members, and visitors with genuine care and professionalism, and ensuring every arrival and departure reflects the exceptional standards of Dorchester Collection.
You’ll also work in close partnership with the Doorman and Concierge team to ensure all resident requests are fulfilled seamlessly, supporting arrivals and departures through luggage assistance, resident deliveries, and thoughtful recognition, always addressing residents by name and maintaining a composed, welcoming presence.

Reporting directly to the Duty Manager on shift

Ensuring that CCTV / work-related security and surveillance systems are professionally operated at all times when assigned and to relay all pertinent information to relevant stakeholders or Area Director of Security
You will be convergent of, and comply with, safe working practises as laid down under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and Company H &amp; S Manual, as applicable to your place of work.
Conducts random audits in all departments to ensure the policy on key control, Lost and Found processes and adhered to security Code of Practice

The Graduate Programme is a dynamic opportunity underpinned around our ‘We Care’ culture designed to fast-track you in achieving a supervisory role upon completion of the programme. During the programme you will work in one of our world renowned hotels and will be supported by our senior leaders, to develop the technical and behavioural skills aligned to becoming a hospitality specialist.
During your time as a Graduate, you will also gain exposure of an array of training material delivered by our Learning &amp; Development team, supported through our Dorchester Collection Learning Academy. Connect with our Senior Leadership team through mentorship from the Executive Committee for networking, support and guidance to become a legendary leader.

Participate in a variety of taskforce opportunities across Dorchester Collection and events such as Chelsea Flower Show and Royal Ascot.
