WHAT YOU’LL DO 
You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:  
•           Ability to clearly and pleasurably communicate in English and/or other foreign language (Spanish, French, Japanese or German, etc. very helpful) with guests, visitors, management and co-workers to their understanding, both in person, on the telephone, and via email.
•           Our Baristas are responsible for with all aspects of hot drinks service, experience of using and maintaining a coffee machine, and packaging/serving pastries. Keeps work area clean and organized so that co-workers and management can locate resources and products as needed. Always ensuring that excellent quality and superb service is delivered to all guests. 
•           Maintains the highest level of standards for all product preparation
•           Promote positive relations with all individuals who enter The Patisserie and by telephone.
•           Ability to focus on the guest needs remaining calm and courteous. To think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions.
•           Ensure that The Patisserie area is clean, tidy and re stocked when necessary, during their day; this will include being responsible for maintaining the equipment and thoroughly cleaning at the end of each business day        
•           Prioritize, organize and follow up.
•           Work well under pressure and assist guest and employees with any given period of time.
•           Attention to details.
•           Maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information.
•           Ensure security of The Patisserie and all product
•           Work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
•           Process, box and package orders 
•           Suggestively sell and display items attractively.
•           Assist in inventory as needed with the Accounting Department.
•           Ability to work without direct supervision.
•           Ability to work any day/shift including weekends and holidays.
•           Willing and able to cross train in various departments so to have an excellent understanding and knowledge for the overall guest service, standards and experience.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Our Spa Coordinators perform all duties on the coordinator daily checklist, this may include, but is not limited to, upselling services and/or retail products, generating daily Spa Soft and Opera reports, communicating to guests and team members via email and phone calls, offering tours of the spa, and maintaining responsibility for the shipping/receiving of products and packages to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.  
Sometimes our guests have special requests involving allergies, treatment preferences, and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Spa Coordinators.

·       Compile sales and occupancy tax submissions along with commission payments
·       Support the month-end closing process preparing journal entries and Balance Sheet reconciliations
·       Complete AR functions, respond to guest inquiries via phone or email, prepares individual/group billing, attends Pre con meetings as needed.
·       Complete AP functions, set up vendors in financial system, records &amp; distributes invoices for approval, posts and disburse payments as needed.
·       Complete General Cashiering functions as needed.
·       Work with the Finance Team on the various financial audit tasks, helping to ensure a strong internal controls environment
·       Prepare financial analysis for review as needed

Our Bar Porter also assist with weekly inventory by keeping track of what is needed and assisting putting inventory away upon delivery. Bar Porter are essential to the framework for cultivating relationships with all our guests, including recognizing all in-house and VIP guests all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience. 
Sometimes our guests have special requests involving dietary restrictions, drink and garnish preferences, and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Bar Porters.

You will be responsible for entire operational service of all group, social, banquet and planned food and beverage events to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience. 
You’ll also be responsible for maintaining a high standard of food product and satellite banquet staging area sanitation, storage and handling procedures. Implementation of food product presentation, and service standards.  Monitors food quality, nutritional, and portion control standards. 
You will also consult with representatives of client group or organization to plan details such as number of persons expected, display desired, and food service schedule as necessary.  
You will also coordinate entire Banquet Service including managing the banquets team, final stewarding re-accession approval, service staffing levels, set-up (including displays, exhibits, and decorations), service, clean-up, and guest relations. Final pre-event function inspection (fire &amp; health). You will also handle patron/guest compliance with all hotel rules and policies regarding banquet functions during their day. This will include  reviewing all payroll and gratuity reports, arranging, confirming, and coordinating specialty entertainment and event planning as necessary. Attending weekly Banquet Event Order, Tastings, and Catering meetings. Conducts daily shift meetings.

Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 5 hours per day. Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day.  Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task. Ability to perform cutting skills on work surfaces, topped with cutting boards, 3 to 4 feet in height (kitchen, pastry kitchen, etc.). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Most work tasks are performed indoors.  Temperature generally is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems; however, must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
