You will be responsible for supervising the daily activities of the host/security team to ensure all operational and safety procedures are always followed.
Maintain a strong visible presence across the property while ensuring guests and residents receive exceptional service.
Coordinate incident response procedures, including emergencies, accidents, fire alarms and evacuation protocols.
Monitor security systems, CCTV operations and access control procedures to maintain the safety of the property.
Support investigations, incident reporting and conflict resolution professional and confidentially
Work closely with Duty Mangers and operational departments to minimize risks and ensure smooth day to day operations.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards or security concerns.
Ensure compliance with local laws, health &amp; safety regulations and company policies always.
Train, motivate and mentor team members to uphold Dorchester Collection standards and deliver exceptional service.
Maintain accurate records, logs and reports related to incidents, shift activities and operational matters.
Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

F&amp;B Administration
Typing and sending all F&amp;B department’s related correspondence, menus etc. including those relating to some restaurant enquiries and confirmations
Compose letters on behalf of the F&amp;B team in line with Coworth Park standards
Type special menus for groups, promotions etc. and other menus as required
Operate and manage the computer system according to office procedures, filing documents in a logical and easily accessible system
Maintain an up to date filing system and accurate trace system
Manage office supplies and hotel collateral, ensuring enough stationery is available and stocked
Sort, date stamp, distribute and collate post for F&amp;B team and frank all outgoing mail
Answer the telephone within three rings in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner, providing accurate information to the caller
Meet and greet visitors, create a warm welcome, conduct show rounds and deal with all enquiries professionally
Assist in research for promotions, projects and competitor’s analysis etc.
Attend meetings and take minutes as required.
Ensure office, kitchen and reception areas are kept tidy and clean at all times
Receive and coordinate pick up of deliveries
Coordinate meeting room diary and ensure meeting room is set up accordingly
Restaurant Reservations
Take reservations and accurately record any special requirements, payment and contact details
Confirm reservations both verbally and in writing ensuring special requirements are referred to
Respond to all external and internal F&amp;B enquiries (via email or website) within 24 hours 
Ensure timely and efficient internal communication on all details to a reservation e.g. menu and wine choice, final number of guests, menu/place card requirements etc. to relevant departments

This will include mise-en-place and table set-up before service, speedy delivery of food during service and organizing teas and coffees where Barista training will be provided all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.
During your placement you will gain experience across all of our different outlets, from relaxed day dining in The Barn, to afternoon tea service on the terrace and exposure to some of our amazing events held at the hotel. &lt;br /&gt;
