As a Security Manager at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $70,000-$75,000 annually.

A day in the life of our Security Manager … it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Food Runners accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.

• Our Security Managers are responsible for maintaining good communication and work relationships in all areas of the hotel, coordinating with government and law enforcement agencies as necessary and organizing patrol of all hotel areas during their day.

• This will include administrative duties such as scheduling officers, training and coaching, preparing incident reports, conducting investigations and liaising with department heads to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.

• Sometimes our guests have special requests involving lost and found concerns, first aid, fire life safety and terrorist and active shooter prevention training. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Security Manager. 

• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Security Managers are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct. 

• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Security Managers must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.

Our Security Managers must be able to physically walk the property checking in with all departments. Security Supervisor must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Security Officer must be able to quickly run to all emergency situations including Fire and Medical calls. Security Officer must be able to perform CPR kneeling and conducting chest compressions for a long period of time as necessary. Security Officer must be able to physically defend themselves in a physical altercation with a Suspect in regards to the rules of engagement. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk, sit for long periods of time up to 8 hours, to reach and manipulate objects, tools or controls.
