As a Cafeteria Attendant at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $24.05 per hour.

A day in the life of our Cafeteria Attendants … it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our  Cafeteria Attendants  accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know. 

• Our Cafeteria Attendants are responsible for knowing all aspects of maintaining food storage and handling procedures in Café 90210 (team member dining area).

• Follow production schedule and daily menus. They transport food to and from main kitchen to cafeteria; store food in designated areas and perform basic food preparation including washing, peeling and cutting. They perform theses duties according to hotel standards of procedure all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.

• Sometimes our team members have special requests involving daily featured items or special dietary requests. They support according to Café 90210 specifications. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Cafeteria Attendants. 

• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Cafeteria Attendants are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct. 

• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Cafeteria Attendants must communicate with other Culinary departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.

The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, our Cafeteria Attendants are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell.  The employee frequently is required to stand up to 8 hours.  The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
